WFMS is a 'not for profit' unadopted charity.

Our only regular income is from our Member's annual subscriptions, donations via Easyfundraising and donations from the public.

When eligible, we may also apply for grants from Hampshire or Rushmoor Borough Council to help us purchase replacement equipment to enable us support our community.

We do not receive any regular grants to help us with our operating costs or our utility bills.

Therefore, we really appreciate any and all help given to us via charity donations, Easyfundraising or Council grants, as it is these that keeps our Man Shed going and keeps us supporting our community.  Thank you!

Tool Donations

A very big thank you to all our kind residents who have previously donated bench, electrical and hand tools to our Man Shed, it is very much appreciated.

As we are very limited for space, we now have to be extremely picky about future tool donations as we simply just do not have the storage capacity, nor do we have the means to dispose of unwanted tools without our members taking them to the dump.

Listed below are guidelines to what we would and would not be interested in receiving:

Yes Please:

• But please send us a picture first so we can decide if we can use them:
• Bench tools in good working order that are clean and electrically safe to use.
• Folding work bench in good working order.  
• Wood Planers in working condition.
• Boxes of screws, in good clean condition - with no rust.
• Drill bits which are sharp with no rust
• Wood chisels with no rust or broken handles.

No Thanks:

• Old, rusty or damaged hand tools, including saws.
• Old, rusty tool boxes.
• Job lots of tools where decent tools are mixed with old rusty tools.
• Tools not related to woodworking unless they are of general use and in good condition.
• Screwdrivers and screwdriver bits - we already have way too many.
• Anything with a big spider on it.
