She shed, lady lair, fem den

WFMS is proud to welcome ladies into our Shed. We warmly welcome any lady to share and become part of our community. Our lady members work side by side with our male members on an equal basis. We recognise there are many ladies in the community that enjoy 'Crafting' but lack a space or tooling to fully explore their interest. Ladies though are welcome to engage in any project they wish to accomplish.

We provide support on safety training for all Shed machinery as well as sharing members skills to improve anybody who wishes to expand their skill set.

Carol arrived with a huge slab of Oak wishing to make a chopping board. After resawing, planning flat, edging and sanding it was oiled and ready to go.

Helen brought this old and dirty bowl before cleaning and restoration.

The finished bowl after some TLC LOOKING GREAT

Helen found an old Blanket Box which she brought down the Shed. Using tools in the shed it was sanded and finished in a subtle blue wash finish. The result sits proudly now at the foot of her bed
